Undertaken by Wuxi FreshAir as the general EPC contractor for planning, design and construction, Jinfeng Laboratory (Phase I) focuses on life and health research, and builds three major research clusters: intelligent pathology, brain science & brain diseases, and medical laboratory testing.

The facility consists of an Advanced Pathology Research Institute, experimental breeding area, laboratory animal center, as well as laboratories for toxicology, ABSL-2, NGS, morphology, cytology, pathology, molecular biology, metabolomics, proteomics and cell biology.
